The Space Shuttle Discovery, dogged by problems shortly after take off, landed safetly, in California, a short time ago.Her crew said "It's good to be home"

Hmm I just said the space shuttle landed on earth without a hitch..which is incredible considering the heat shield was supposed to be damaged...with that kind of damage the shuttle's safety was compramised..

I'll bet they were saying more than "It's good to be home" when there were no reporters around. Those poor people had to be scared to death. I was too nervous to watch even if I had been at home when it landed. I'm glad it's over, and I hope no more go up until they can be sure it will be safe.

I hope not however,America are still determined to be the 1st country to colonise Mars. Personally it seems impossible, to transport the gear they will need a fleet of shuttles, I think this could turn out to be a huge and very costly mistake.
